The Mission

The representative yet aging clubhouse was to be transformed into a space that is not only contemporary and appealing in design but also exceptionally high-end, inviting, and unique. The new ambiance was intended to inspire club members and guests alike, while providing a tasteful and functional setting for family celebrations, events, and restaurant patrons. The investment in exclusive interior fittings was aimed at creating a result second to none—underlining and highlighting the exceptional standards of both service and products. Spanning 1,300 m², the goal was to deliver modernity and stylistic confidence of the highest quality. During a renovation period from November 2021 to May 2022, HEIKAUS GmbH, acting as general contractor, implemented the designs by the architectural firm Herzog Kassel + Partner.

The Challenge

Beyond the tight schedule and the exceptionally high quality standards, the primary challenge lay in the sheer scope of trades, which required meticulous planning and precise coordination. To meet the demanding deadline, construction work commenced even before the final execution plans were completed.

The Solution

The structural trades—including demolition, extensive earthworks, shell construction, essential waterproofing, and carpentry—were seamlessly integrated and tightly synchronized. Parallel to the start of the interior fit-out—comprising screed, tiling, plumbing, and drywall work meeting strict acoustic and fire safety standards—the exterior landscaping and the installation of the expansive new terrace flooring also commenced.

To finalize the prestigious interior design, master joiners, painters, and specialists in acoustics and fire protection were deployed. Flooring experts installed high-end wood and textile coverings, while a team of electricians implemented the comprehensive security and lighting concept. The use of exceptional materials and intricate processing techniques was demanding and far from standard. Highlights such as the premium marble bar counter with rounded corners, expansive acoustic ceilings with real wood decor and decorative grooves, and tasteful ethanol fireplaces integrated into stonework and custom furniture, were both a challenge and a privilege to realize.
